I ve been learning to make engineering drawings on solidworks in the past semester. I ve also learnt a lot about engineering graphics and the indian standards for drawing (BIS).We studied projections, solids, orthogonal views, sectioning and development of solids etc...
I ve just completed a few tutorials in solid works. Its great , i may say that its even easy to use than blender. Its professional and made for CAD.
I ve some files which i ve created mostly engineering drawings but also some 3D parts. If any of you guys are intrested in lokking at them ask and i'll put them up on deviantart.
In our university we 1st years learn CAD with a software called solidworks. Its a good one but costs too much. I like it but my first love has been blender.I havent been working with blender for some 6 months now! I hope i get a little break to work with it, but the nearest one seems to be summer
